College tuitions. Sure is a pain in the ass to juggle car insurance, gas and a phone bill while having to pay for college as well.

Apathy likely causes more problems than hate.
The first problem in a conflict isn't that one group of people instinctively hate another group of people, its that one group is stopping another group from achieving a goal.

The apathy comes in when the side being stopped doesn't care how they achieve their goal, they view the side stopping them as insects which are in the way, you don't feel hatred for an ant when you step on it, you feel apathetic.

Then each side teaches themselves to hate the other side because apathy can only last so long before you start questioning why you're crushing someone's face under your boot.

My choice for removing something to make the world a better place would be life.

If reducing the amount of harm done to sentient beings to a non-existent level isn't the best thing that could happen to this world then I don't know what is.

On the other hand, for this question, I could simply take away the ability for any sentient being to be able to feel suffering.

Social media

It controls everybody these days and is causing havoc on society. People are too worried about their online appearance and not focused on day to day tasks. This effects all ages all around the world and personally, I don't think it's healthy.
