I use a pump/tactical.

I usually carry double pump because heavys are rare to find but i personally prefer double heavy. Sometimes i carry a tac shotgun so i can carry more items i like to mix it up once in a while when i can.

Depends on the rarity of the shotgun.
Situations are listed from most desirable to least

-If I get a heavy shotgun I will always run heavy/tac, or heavy/smg if tac shotgun is a gray.

-If I get a blue tac and no heavy I run only blue tac, and save an extra slot for whatever else.

-If I have a pump I will run pump/tac unless it is a gray, then it is substituted for an smg.


TLDR; heavy shotguns > blue tac > pumps > smg/green tac > gray tac

I would prefer green or blue pump and green or blue tac.

blue tac is better than purple heavy.

I would use legendary heavy instead of blue tac, if they were easy to get.

After last weeks(?) patch went up, they completely changed them. Double pump is still good imo but double heavy is kind of OP. Not to mention, it's a lot easier to get now. Normally, some people wouldn't even pick up the heavy and now almost everyone does when they see one, so whenever I kill someone they almost always have a heavy to pick up.

double heavy. It is more consistent with hits and you can shoot quicker.
