select the god class,
Wait for a few seconds and don't move,

After a few seconds press Y, still don't move
Once people start moving around normally and it doesn't seem to lag anymore then you can move.

The best way to detect when you are able to move it attach a heartbeat sensor to your secondary, it will flicker when it's lagging, when it stops lagging the heartbeat sensor will pulse normally.
