Modern warfare 3 backwards compatible

So since modern warfare 3 has recently became backwards compatible on the xbox one, what does this mean for other call of duty titles? Why hasn't mw2 became backwards compatible even though its the older and far superior game? Is this just a cry us to try and spend more money on a game that was dead years ago. I feel that if they were to bring back a game back from the dead it should've definitely been mw2 and mw3 but together as a remastered package without all the supply drop crap we see these days on current cod titles. What do you guys think? Personal question from me (I recently started playing mw3 and I've been de-ranked from a troll. Any way to get back to level 70 again??) thanks guys

But when you think about it, them remastering it is a good thing.
Why?
Because if they remaster it you dont have to worry about getting deranked or everyone using mods.
But...I just hope they dont ruin the game when they remaster it

I'm not sure what I'd rather want to be honest personally. I think a backwards compatible mw2 would be great but the hype would die off quickly but if they did a remaster it has the potential to make the game great again but they could just ruin something what has the potential to be something amazing, you know?

Who knows what their plan is, it's really up in the air. I kind of feel like a remaster is bound to happen at some point, but then again it could just be way to get more people to buy MW3 again before they buy MW2 again(If it goes BC)
and you can try to find a max prestige lobby around the modding section to get your levels back.

Yeah I suppose it's just a waiting game. I heard the remaster for mw2 will have no multiplayer, just spec ops and campaign so I have no idea. I've also looked around for a modded lobby and there are guys hosting them but I am getting no invites so I dunno what to do :/

This is the exact reason why I would prefer them to remaster than BC & yeah if they do remaster hopefully they keep it all the same instead of them doing what they did to modern warfare remastered because in my opinion that turned out really bad.

If they release it without multiplayer they will be making the biggest mistake ever. The community would be pissed. I just hope something happens with the game, whether it's BC or remastered, I want to play it again.
