Hello, my wife is looking to get a MacBook but I don't know much about laptops. I am trying to convince her to get like a HP or Dell because I assume we could get her a better laptop for a lot cheaper but those laptops won't connect to her iPhone and Apple Watch.
Her budget is 500-700 so can't get a new one. We're looking on amazon or any of the store websites.
Any suggestions would be great thank you

You should do some searches on eBay and see what used ones come up.
MacBook Air's probably do everything she wants and would be a bit cheaper.

For that price you will be looking at used/refurbed
check used electronic sites and things like that.
But yeah chances are you could get a much better laptop for cheaper if it wasn't an Apple one.

She got the MacBook Air. It was on sale for $799 + $50 Student discount. Went to best buy. So far she seems to like it. Not my type of computer haha but whatever. She can connect her stuff to it and I think that was the main thing for her.

Yeah that's how much I got mine for, but that must mean she got a brand new one right?

I'm glad you were able to find a good deal on one. If you ever need help, feel free to PM me as I've had to same computer for a few years. They are a bit pricey but a nice piece of tech and I think she's gonna enjoy the hell out of it!

Definitely go look on Ebay for a Refurbished/Lightly-Used one. I got my Macbook for school/normal usage and it was extremely cheap and in amazing condition. Just make sure you check out the person you're buying it from!
