Hey whats going on, so a friend of mines is trying to update his Corona4gb. He's able to update the nand and flash. Xbox reboots and all seems well. When he goes to check what version its on, its still on the old dash before he tried to update it.
He has tried to update the nand using J-Runner and Xebuild. No matter what, when he flashes it to his system, the dash never actually updates.

The problem isnt knowing how to do it. The problem is its not updating. There are 0 errors, everything successful. No idea what causes that issue.
I was only trying to help, what's with the downvote?
Would assist you further but I'm sure you'll figure it out

what i'd suggest doing is , download the latest xebuild once more, rebuild you a new nand once more, and save your new updflash.bin to a usb.
i would use a blank usb.
then plug the usb into the rgh and boot with xell. and let xell flash the new nand for you. then remove the usb and reboot.
if you write a nand to the xbox no matter which way you do, it is being written. so you might just be writing the old nand back to it each time..

You can also flash the 4gb nand using simple nand flasher thru usb thru xex menu. Or you can write thru jrunner either way will work as long as you load the correct nand you built
Hope this helps
