Ever since I started playing fortnite I could tell somthing was off, and felt i was at a disadvantage, the more I played the more I became convinced.
So I recorded my last ten games and took note of how many shots I took, how many shots I hit the opponent and the damage they all did.
THE RESULTS WERE STAGGERING AND WAY WORSE THEN I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT!
I hit opponents 49 times and did 1,209 damage
Opponents hit me 28 times and did 1,376 damage WTF! !
(BTW the stats that fortnite give you at the end of the match are beyond shit, for many reasons, so I simplified it down, 1 hit from whatever weapon is one hit, explosive weapons and traps are not counted, this is purely on bullets)
8 of the 10 matches the damage did not equal up, three matches I had epic weapons and I had numerous headshots, it can't be bloom unless I'm the most unluckiest person in fornite ever!! I don't understand why this could be happening. PLEASE! Anybody with any theory please leave a comment, I don't like not understanding how somthing works.

It could be bloom, it could be lag on your end or the opponents end or it could just be a glitch.

I like the name FortShite tho may have to nick this and use it as a username and make content xD

get some friends and try playground and just do build fights to see if the same stuff happens

Seems like you're digging too deep to find ways the game is off to defend yourself not being as good as others.
Sure there are problems with the game, but they've been tuning weapons like crazy, changing bloom on weapons, and the game is still in beta.

Fortnite is a fun and stress enducing game. This is how I play: enjoy the good parts, laugh off the bs, get off if you're angry.

Yes I do overthink things alot, I realise that, but I don't like when I can't figure out why things work. Remember I have those matches recorded, so you can see them yourself if you'd like, I'm not lying, the stats I put are true. I like the game, I'd like it better though if I could understand why this is happening especially as nobody seems to have the same issue as me

Just in case anybody was wondering, I figured out that there is a lag in my game. Noticed the opponents last shots before I die did more damage usually 50 or 60, so when I was seeing just one shot they were probably hitting me 2 or 3 times. Also proof of this is I always land slowly then everybody else, I use wireless Internet connection (apparently slowet) and just had last game, when somebody stood right next to opens a chest and nothing came out!! They had already picked up everything before it even appeared on my screen. Happy finally figured it out #everythingcanbesolved

Stop blaming the game. Its your fault that you died and lost. Every death you get, analyse it. Look at your replays and see how you died and how you could of prevented it. See what you lack, building? AR shots? Shotgun aim?

I used to blame the game a lot too, thought it was unfair but now I win 1/4 games I play. I was really really bad at shotgun fights as I would panic, after around 4 months of playing my aim has massively improved. Find out how you are dying and improve on it.

AR shots arent really the players fault because of the RNG involved with bloom.

first of all, weapons. I think we can all agree that the bloom aiming system i quite shite, but if I one pump you im going to take high damage. If you hit somebody with a pistol once, you aren't going to hit as much damage.

Dude pistols are super OP if you can aim, they do over 20 per shot and over 40 for a headshot and they can be trigger fingered super fast.

i know they do mad damage, but when you compare it to a one pump, 1 shot vs 22 damage per shot. I think is extremely bad example to compare with damage when weapons significantly different damage.
