This year for Christmas I plan to use the majority of my money to build my own PC. I have decent computer experience, but I am just not sure if I should attempt it. Any suggestions or opinions would be nice. The other thing is that I have no idea where to get parts, so if someone could point me in the general direction that would be great!

It is a hard struggle. Once you've completed it, it will feel amazing.

Building PC's are awesome. Their is just some logic needed to do it. I'd say do it.
You can get parts like CPU's from electronic stores like Bestbuy or Frys electronics in the US. Newegg.com sells everything, amazon, Ebay, etc.

Building a pc is really not that hard I just got done doing one if you want to know some parts. It cost me around $900 and I still have to go buy a video card though.

Hey,
I'm 13 and I just built my first computer
it wasn't too hard. The hardest part it just getting the right components. I only ever had trouble with fitting the motherboard in the case and putting the CPU in the slot thing.

If you live in the UK then the best wesbite is [urlwww.scan.co.uk[/url]. They have something called "Scan Sure" (I think that's what it's called). If you damage your component during installation you can send it back and recieve a replacement within 28 days.
