Hey I'm not the biggest know it all when it comes to mobile devices let alone viruse on a mobile device, but it never fails, every time I open thetechgame on my iPhone it'll display the website, load everything it needs to, then it'll pop up with a "Congratulations! You've won a $500 Amazon Gift Card!!" Website with a weird combination of letters and numbers in the address bar. If I hit back, it'll bring me to another website that has different "giveaway". I'm convinced it's a virus within my phone, but throws me off as to why it only appears on TTG.
Any advice with what to do/how to get rid of it or fix it?
Thanks!

I get this soemtimes on certain websites i just close the tab and it goes away. If it does it after im not sure if iphone had it but try seeing if it has AVG antivirus. It will scan the phone and delete anything that's a threat.

Is there a way to scan for viruses that doesn't involve the App Store? It won't let me download apps at all. Free or paid.

Its not a Virus, this gets posted about once every 3 days on here. The staff are aware but cant do much because its a mobile issue not a TTG issue.
What mobile browser are you using?

Buddy you can't get a virus on an iPhone. You can with an android however.
It's just an ad that pops up and will continue to keep popping up and its hard to get rid of on mobile.
I'd say maybe try using another web browser on your iPhone.
