Synopsis (Wikipedia):
WWE 2K15 is a professional wrestling video game developed in a collaboration between Yuke's and Visual Concepts, and published by 2K Sports for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It is the to WWE 2K14, and was succeeded by WWE 2K16. It was released on October 28, 2014, in North America and on October 31, 2014, in Europe for last generation consoles and released on November 18, 2014, in North America and on November 21, 2014, in Europe for current generation consoles. It was released for Microsoft Windows on April 28, 2015, and was the first WWE game to be released on the platform since WWE RAW, which was released in 2002. It is the first game in the series to use the new WWE logo since it was introduced earlier in 2014.
The game is based on the professional wrestling promotion WWE and WWE 2K15 serves as the first game in the series to signify the "new generation", placing a heavy emphasis on traditional and more relaxed game-play, unlike the arcade-like combat prominent in previous instalments. It also adds several new features to compliment main theme based around naturalism, adding a new chain grapple system at thee beginning of matches, slowing the pacing of the matches and adding a new stamina bar to reflect and portray the quality of matches produced on WWE television.
Gameplay:
WWE 2K15 was the first game that came out (in the WWE 2K franchise) as the start of the "new generation", which meant for players that we didn't just get another wrestling game that year, we got a true wrestling game. The new chain wrestling mini-game got implanted into the game this year, making the game for newer consoles and PC more realistic. You would automatically initiate the Collar-and-Elbow Tie-Up in the beginning of the game when pressing the grabbling button. We also seen the first of the brand new "three-tier stamina meter" which when fighting would control the pace of the match. The classic Breaking Point Submission system was revamped this year, getting replaced withe two separate gauges. Added to the game as well would be allowing thee player to store signatures this year, along with the Catch and Catapult finishers. Game-play on the PS3 and Xbox 360 remain thee same has previous years but was introduced withe new roster (Like every year), Arenas, and Titles.
Story Modes:
2K Showcase-
This is the first year we had the "2K Showcase" implanted into the game, it would follow the footsteps of WWE 2K14's "30 Years of Wrestlemania" has players would get to play classic moments of WWE History. We would be first be able to play the 2011-2013 rivalry of CM Punk and John Cena, this is a key-point in History has 2 WWE Championships were in the WWE at the same time after CM Punk beat John Cena at Money in the Bank 2011 to win the WWE Championship and have his contract end at Midnight. There was then a new WWE Champion crowned in John Cena to only have CM Punk return and start this famous 2 Champion rivalry. CM Punk would end up beating John Cena in late 2012 to only face "The People's Champ" The Rock at Royal Rumble 2013 where it ended in good fashion.
We then got to play thee "Best Friend's, Bitter Enemies" rivalry between Triple H and Shawn Micheals. It would began at Summerslam 2002 withe various matches with other Attitude Era superstars like Mick Foley. It would end at Bad Blood 2004 in a Hell in a Cell Match.
2K Showcase DLC:
MyCareer Mode:
It wasn't a surprise that the WWE 2K15 career mode would only be similar to NBA 2K15's same career mode. It would start off by a Custom-Made Superstar made by the player starting off in the Performance Center of NXT and ending at the main event of Wrestlemania after a long, hard-fought journey. It would be judged by the 1-5 Star Match Rating on how you perform, and you could either decide to be a heel or face of the company. Wins and Losses had little effect on the career of your Superstar. MyCareer Mode was exclusive to Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 exclusive modes:
Who Got NXT-
Who Got NXT was a first time Game-Mode in the WWE Video-game Franchise. It would include a series of matches from NXT Stars at that time. The Stars would be: Neville, Bo Dallas, Corey Graves, Rusev and Sami Zayn. They would battle WWE Stars and NXT Stars to the right to become superior.
Proving Ground-
Proving Ground was a chance for young stars on the roster to go head to head against the top guy of WWE, John Cena. This game mode would only be available after beating all 5 Superstars Story Modes in "Who Got NXT". The player could choose one of the 5 superstar rookies to face John Cena in a one-on-one match with a 30 minute time limit. After beating Cena with all 5 Rookies, you would unlock the entire WWE Roster.
Graphics:
WWE 2K15 used the same Head to Body Visual Scanners they used on NBA 2K14 to make sure every superstar looked identical in the game has they did real life on the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC version of the game. Clothing and Facial Hair was updated in the system, running at 1080p with 60fps. The Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 Edition were the same just with a new lighting system along with clothing textures. Micheal Cole and Jerry Lawler did over 30 hours of commentary with natural conversation.
Soundtrack:
WWE 2K15 busted out a licensed soundtrack for the first time in 10 years for that year's game. It was curated by John Cena himself with songs alongside Wiz Khalifa.
Soundtrack included songs like:
DLC:
-Accelerator, which unlocked all in-game content.
-Additional Attires for the Following Superstars:
-The Path of Warrior Playable Characters:
NXT ArRival, more playable characters-
WCW Pack, even more playable characters-
Season Pass- Includes all 2K Showcases and DLC Packs.

Great review of this game dude. A lot of time it looks like it took to type this all out. I actually recently tried 2k17 wwe and it's changed so much since I last played I was blown away.

Gameplay was written choppy, seemed like mostly just Wiki reworded, same goes for the story. Soundtrack was an unnecessary subject that was not needed to be talked about, and there was no images of the game in your Graphics category.
A great game from back in the day with my brother and I always competing against each other. Ladder match was also a personal favorite.

WWE has gotten a lot better over the past years. This one has a few tweaks in it but it is very impressive.

Seems like a pretty standard WWE game, it looks like a lot of fun. Pretty awesome that Nas is featured in one of the soundtrack songs. For sure not worth getting because there's many other WWE games out now, but this was still a great review!
