pcpartpicker.com is a good place to find the cheapest seller.

Scared of liquid cooling ngl, is it worth doing? And thanks I'll check them out.

I have a Corsair H80i, built my PC back in 2014 and have had no issues. Custom Water Cooling/Loops is what you're probably thinking of, these need to be maintenanced and checked for leaks etc. before using. I'd recommend Corsair products though.

Cptfloppypanda wrote Thanks ill edit that now, 1 monitor a benq 1440 1080. No overclocking and for gaming, General use, possible some photo editing, but mainly gaming.

What is the model number of the monitor? If you're not going to overclock, you can save some money by going with a locked i7.

Monitor: zowie xl2411 24 inch
Ok ill make sure i change that up, thanks.

No need, especially since you aren't going to be overclocking.

1070Ti's are better value than 1080's for the most part, unless you get a 'budget' 1080;

I'd rather just get the EVGA 1070Ti though since the performance difference between the 1070Ti and 1080 is pretty insignifcant. If I was going to get a GTX 1080 though, I'd be looking at these 2;

Thanks for all the help its really appreciated. And is it worth getting a lower 1080ti with that build or is it better to stick with a 1080/1070ti? Also is it best to go to a 750w PSU as i have a wireless headset that charges and plays and a couple usb devices that are occasionly in?

No need at all to even glance at a 1080ti they are top of the range right now and you just wont be utilising it.

You shouldn't need the extra wattage because the system wont use a massive amount but if you are worried about it you can up it to 750 if you like.

You don't need 750W for a couple of USB devices lol. 650W would be enough for SLI GTX 1080s, which your motherboard doesn't support anyway so 650W is more than adequate for a single GPU system.

Get a 1080Ti if you want to spend more, but a 1070Ti is a solid card for 1080p 144Hz.
