This is my intake on this whole situation, who made this a go ahead thinking a Discord badge is a good idea it's based of the known user the more referrals they'll get. Not hating if you think about you get what I mean. I do like the arcade badge I never touched the arcade games, never will not interested.

The site is not dying, Discord is off site, and the people that gonna use it, will see it on TTG. Getting people to do referrals, aint gonna make more people sign up to this site is it lol It's just a Discord channel. If anythink, if the site was dying, they would do referrals for people to sign up to TTG lol. As for Arcade King, that is just a nice award for those who play arcade games.

The site is dying, there's no acceptable answer to proof it's actually what it once was. The site hit its high-point already, now we're just coasting on 50-150 new members who are only here for the download section. Other than that, we have the regular members we see every day who post, create topics, and just sit in the shoutbox. It's rare to see a newcomer start posting on a daily basis and/or come in the shoutbox chatting with others. This site will have peaks when a new Call of Duty comes out or a game rockets on the market like Fortnite. Those peaks will shortly die out after a month or 2. Without modding due to these consoles and members restricted to doing services for the community, less activity will come onto the site. Picture TTG now as a "Looking for Group" site within the Gaming area. The badges are just added to create more flow and triumph on the site so we aren't just sitting here sucking our thumbs trying to get the only cool badges like Rated Awesome or Ninja.

As for the Discord badge, we're required to send links to people to promote the site on a software that's not even the site? Discord is senseless and puts lack in the staff moderation on the site as you can do anything and say anything on Discord. Promoting discord too, we will see an increase in members be frauded, scamming, etc, due to it not being on-site without staff moderation. If you really want to promote TheTechGame, start with getting your Youtube channel back up. How about getting a referral link to the actual shoutbox rather than an off-site shoutbox. The way this badge is earned is a disappointment and could have been done in a different way.
