Make sure you have your games ripped properly and try finding a working download for the hddx compatibility folder and reinstall it. Also make sure you're installing everything to your hdd and not an external drive.

i found this info about the 007 nightfire

Freezes when loading levels that give player full control over vehicles. Multiplayer with 4 people is extremely laggy, low framerate in large, open areas or areas with lots of NPCs.

but.. lol... how the hook do you pass the freeze?
