Last time I checked looking clean, fresh and presentable when you are on a date or in a working environment is being a man.
Amen to that brother. I have a fully grown beard, I would never let another man cut my beard unless I was enlisted in the military and they were to cut it, but even then, I would cut it before hand.
I mean, to how you read each statement is up to you, how you perceive what I said is in the text.

Girlfriend is a hairdresser, I let her do it. If she's not home and I'm going out, or something else I will do it myself though. I don't let anybody else do it.

Oh dear lord, this "being a man" thing is getting really out of hand.
What is a man to you? Is a man the iron worker who is dirty all day lifting heavy things in unsafe environments, or is a man the lawyer who spent countless hours schooling and debating to get where he is? Both are men, one probably cuts his own hair, and the other probably gets his cut.
To me, part of being a man is knowing what you can and can't do. If you know you can't cut your own hair or beard, you have someone else do it. That's being a man and getting your responsibilities dealt with...
Anyway, carry on.

It all depends, if it's overgrown and I don't have any plans I'll do it myself but if I'm going out or having meals etc I'd 100% go barbers:)

I live near a barber and they cut every little hair, I'm not kidding lol they literally cut it down and your skin feels like baby skin lol but yeah I usually go to the barber but if I want to save money I do it myself.

I trim my own, but when I let it get lengthy, I go to the barber.

I trim my own but the barber shapes it with a cut throat razor.
