Cable management needs LOOOADS of work but I'm a slut for a clean box.

Lots of conflicting RGB makes it look rather sickening. Stick to one or two, at absolute most 3 colours(throughout the entire system) and it would look far better.

Cooler is over-priced IMO, but if it's what you wanted, then why not.

Dig the mobo, but I'm an Asus fanboy. I'd have gone for the Strix F though, instead of Strix E- Same board, the F is just typically a nice chunk cheaper. - Unless wi-fi is a requirement? In which case, an enthusiast grade ATX system makes no sense whatsoever.

PSU is solid. I like to stick with Delta and Seasonic typically, but the RM850x is a killer unit.

Overall, absolutely fine system, just needs a tidy up. I would have tried to strech for a 1070Ti though, if possible. GTX 1070 is still a silly good card though.

As I keep saying, PC building has now become a sort of art. I do look for really specifics when looking at builds.

Lets get onto specs first -

I would have spent less on RGB and picked up a 1070TI. Performance over looks any day in my eyes. That said, the 1070 is no slouch and you have room to upgrade in the future if you need to.

Is that a soundcard I see down there? I would have gone for an external DAC since it'll be outside the system meaning you'll get less audio noise. You might not even need a soundcard, depending what audio equipment you're running.

Aesthetics side of things -

You've already pointed out that you need to cable manage. Good! It doesn't need a lot but a lot of that mess can be moved to the back making for a more cleaner build.

I agree with 13, too much RGB for my liking. 1/2/3 colours max, not all of them at once!

I don't like the case, too much open space for me up the front but that's just me. Even it featured an SSD there, it would justify the use for it IMO.

Overall, good build.

I'm no expert when it comes to PC I have a pretty standard $600 build, but I may invest in something like this, that actually looks cool as hell.
Good job on the build man!
