I'm looking for a laptop that can do some small editing for videos and where I can do some gaming too, I'm trying to find one under $600.

What gaming are you trying to do? Laptops that are for gaming are very expensive. Editing, a lot of people prefer a MacBook because of the SSD's but its up to you.

Not a lot of gaming just some normal games multiplayer shooters, they wouldn't have to be run on the best quality but enough for it to run smooth and look okay, and I just want to do small video editing when videos I take and pictures using applications like Lightroom and adobe primere.

Not happening.

Basic Gaming requires a decent processor (i5 min).

Video Editing requires at least 16GBs of memory and a good video card. 8GB of memory can cut it but don't try to use PS and Chrome together! Shit will slow down and crash.

These requirements will set you back $500 min if you know where to buy. Your best bet will be a desktop with components from eBay (low prices).

Don't waste your money on a $600 laptop. It will break within two years and function slow. SSD's and Memory can improve the performance, but that can add up to $200 quickly.

Could possibly find some second hand parts and build off the budget you've got, but if you get more money you can always upgrade

Your best bet is to save your money to ether build one, or buy a pc that is designed for what you need it for...
This way you can just buy all in one shot and not have to worry about anything as far as performance and functionality..
