T0P wrote all amazing replies, i am planning on getting a 4k monitor and budget isn't really a problem. I just want something for the long run which i won't have to upgrade for a few years

If thats the case then definitely get a 1080.
I'd steer away from the 1070's.

Right I'll leave it at that and go for the 1080, thanks everyone for the advice

If you're going 4k, get the monitor first. Here's a nice one at a great price;

Then if you want, you can still get the Z97 motherboard and 8GB extra RAM like I suggested.

Then you might as well save for a bit and wait for next gen cards. That's what I'd do. You're going to be wasting a GTX 1070Ti/1080 at 1080p60, so get a better monitor(which will still work fine with your 1050Ti. It seems like you'd be able to make some money for a GPU upgrade pretty quickly though since you just bought a 500GB SSD and are ready to buy a £450 GPU, so if you buy the monitor now and wait for next gen, you should hopefully be able to get the xx70 tier GPU for £350(maybe even less if NVidia don't decide to really shaft us with the new gen). Next gen xx70 should be a solid card for 4k as well, no doubt.

If you don't go with the 8GB RAM and Z97 mobo right now, you can save that 130 towards a new GPU. Then sell your current monitor, you should be able to get 120 for that easily since it's a fairly nice 1080p monitor. That's you at £250 already, so if you can manage to get another £100 or so, you should be able to get a GTX 1170/2070 pretty easily, or at the very least a current generation card at a much better price.
