What monitor(s) are you using with the system?
What games will you be playing?
What else will the system be used for?
I'm assuming you'll be overclocking(pls)?
What's the 12TB HDD for?

How much was that Titan V in CAD? $5500? Also when did you buy it? You're gonna wanna return it for a refund asap because it's a huge waste of money that you could absolutely use better elsewhere.

Alright, so first of all, the i7-8086k is stupid. $80 more than the 8700k, but the exact same CPU. Coffee Lake refresh is rumoured to be announced next week and launch in Q4 which should be bringing 8 core Intel SKUs to the mainstream. Intel barely know what they're doing at this point though and Ryzen 2 is pretty bulletproof, so an R7 2700 would have to be my suggestion. Not worth waiting for Intel to get their shit together when an R7 2700 is perfectly capable and the difference at 1440p or greater resolution between AMD and Intel is not noticeable. 970 EVO is a waste for a gaming system, get an 860 EVO. Titan V is a huuuuge waste, 1080Ti is a fraction of the cost but will perform similarly in games. The Titan V is not a GPU for gaming. PSU is waayyyy overkill, 850W is sufficient for the majority of modern dual GPU systems, 550W for a single GPU. 32GB RAM is unnecessary, but even if you were to go with 32GB, that kit seems overpriced, even for the already overpriced DDR4 kits. Lastly, if you're going to actually utilise 12TB of storage, use the money you save on returning the Titan V to build yourself a small NAS.

Answer the questions above and I can help you properly, but if you return the Titan for $5k CAD, you could build this;

Total: $3829.07

$4k with a really nice 100Hz 3440x1440 ultrawide IPS monitor with G-Sync. Pretty much the best monitor on the market. This still leaves you with $4000CAD. If you're really going to utilise 12TB of storage capacity, build a NAS;

You could even get one of those cases that support two systems in one if you wanted, they're all a bit pricey and huge though I think.

The ECC RAM error can be ignored. AM4 should support ECC as AMD don't disable support, it's down to mobo manufacturers to include ECC support. AFAIK, most do, just might have to do some BIOS tweaking. ECC is preferred for a NAS but not necessary, so you can just get 2x8GB non ECC instead if the error spooks you. This still leaves you with like 2 and a half stacks, AND you get two systems and a top tier monitor.

What monitor(s) are you using with the system? Acer Predator or Asus Rog. Cant put my finger on a monitor yet oh and not sure about ultrawide... not everygame support it. Not sure if it worth it. Maybe with HDR ? (Edit: I didnt put a monitor on my list yet didnt want to add it in my budget)
What games will you be playing? I play all games. Mostly single player\storyline
I'm assuming you'll be overclocking(pls)? Yes
What's the 12TB HDD for? I can go lower but i already have a 4tb and it full... 6-8tb would be fine

How much was that Titan V in CAD? Got it for a steal so don't worry about wasting money on that ;)

Most games support ultrawide, I've even ran 10+ year old Need for Speed games in ultrawide, that obviously required a workaround, but still. Even if the game doesn't support 21:9 with or without a workaround, you can just run the game in 16:9. Ultrawide is glorious, and 3440x1440 IPS G-Sync @ 100Hz is like top of the top.

If you've used up 4TB of storage and think you'll use a lot, like I suggested above, I'd sell/return the Titan X, build a 1080Ti system for gaming with a nice big SSD and a decent sized HDD, then build a separate system as a NAS for permanent storage/back-up. It's hands down the better option and what I would do.

Then sell it and make some money, then buy a 1080Ti. The Titan V isn't going to perform any better in the vast majority of games(if not, all). It's literally not a gaming oriented card in anyway, so it won't get support for that from NVidia or in games. A 1080Ti would be an infinitely better choice for a gaming system.

Updated my build (not done yet).
Still searching for a case.
The HAF XB was what i was looking for. (I currently have a mini pc on top of my desk and it's beautiful)
A tower won't look nice up there. If a tower is the way to go i would like it to be black and can't see through.

Will keep a 4TB HDD and just get a bigger SSD (1TB) i should be fine.

P.S. One of the reason i am building this pc is that the Titan V was almost gifted to me.
I Don't really want to go in the trouble in selling it.

(Forgot: Will update Memory soon)

You could go MicroATX or Mini ITX if you really want, but I'd go with the Define R6 tbh. Solid case. You can get it without a side window if you want. The HAF XB is a bad case choice.

The Titan V is really going to be detrimental for gaming though more than anything, so it's not much use to you. They cost $5k+ new in Canada, so even if you sold it for $3k CAD, that would give you $6k CAD which like shown above, is enough for a great system, top tier monitor, and a separate NAS system with $500+ left over.

Oh yeah i like it. Will update.

I get it for the Titan V. I'll check what i can do for that. Think it will be hard to resell it.

Might be a little tough to resell, but I'm sure for $3000-3500CAD someone would snap it up. It's definitely your best bet though.

Get the 1TB SSD I suggested, re-use your 4TB HDD if you can/want, and also add another 2-4TB HDD if you want. Then I'd really be building the NAS, I forgot to add a small SSD to it though, you'll want to get a 120/128GB SSD in the NAS.

I will buy a new 4TB. Giving the current pc to my step son (lucky kid)
Nas ins't necessary. I'm doing well with what i have. I just thought maybe a little more would help.
Edit: Added: Monitor: Asus - PG27AQ 27.0" 3840x2160 60Hz Monitor
Still undecided with the case. Love that cube design Will everything fit ?
