Jet packs were a ton of fun when modded into the game via WaW and MW2, I'd have to agree though seems like an odd perc to add overall in multiplayer.

I think you're right tbh, there's never really been a practical mode for a jetpack in cod. Maybe zombies? Even that's a stretch.
