More specifically GPU's & CPU's
I am wanting to build my own PC by the end of this year.
However my concern is that if I buy a GTX 10** and an 8th Gen Intel CPU, would they still be ''relevant'' spec wise, in say 3 years time?
Or would you have to upgrade your GPU once the next generation comes out?

There is no way to predict whether you'll be happy with the performance of any component years from now.
