I have a powerspec b322 desktop with the 3.2 GHz pentium proccesser.

The pc was working fine but it was full of dust so i decided to clean it out. I removed everything one piece at a time and cleaned it. I put new thermal paste on the proccessor. Put it all back together and it doesn't boot. Usually it turns on and beeps, the power button is blue when powered on and the orange light on the front flashes. Now when i power it on all it does is kick on the fans drives, etc. Nothing happens on screen.

I looked everything over i cant find anything i might have done wrong. I disconnected everything that wasnt nesissary so all that was connected was 1 ram chip, power supply ,hdd ,proccessor fan and heatsink. Still nothing happens just fans. I know when there is no ram chip the pc should beep if all is functioning right so i pulled the ram and nothing. Silient just fans. I dont see any damaged hardware on the motherboard, i checked the cpu to be sure it was seated correct and the pins were straight. Checked to be sure no excess thermal paste bridged something. I cant find any specific problems with it. The only thing i noticed that was odd was the cpu takes a few minutes to heat up when its supposed to get hot in seconds.

Any help is much appriciated.

all i can suggest is to check that the pins on your Motherboard CPU slot are all positioned correctly,

aside from that try getting a new cmos battery, i replaced some parts in my pc before and for some reason the cmos battery never worked again after,

goodluck

Do you have a spare PSU to try it with?
