Hi TTG,

I've recently been witnessing a sudden burst of lag in some games which I play (PUBG, CSGO, LOL and various other older games). This seems to happen when a lot of stuff is going on at once.

I've come to ask to see if you guys would be able to tell me what it is I should be upgrading next in terms of hardware for a more frequent framerate. I avoid games such as Witcher 3 & other single player games as I don't wish to risk wasting money if I'm going to lag. I was looking in to a GPU upgrade but I wasn't too sure as to what was worth my money most when upgrading from the 1050 ti as a friend told me that the I shouldn't get the 970 and he advised the 1070 (8GB).

Ignore the Hitachi storage as it's not the one I actually have as mine is too outdated for pcpartpicker. (I am due an upgrade, but besides the harddrive)

I appreciate your help,
regards,
trsio

the 970 is roughly 65 percent better then the 1050ti and the 1070 is roughly 154 percent better so yes he is correct but its all dependant on your money situation...you can get the 970 for now and upgrade later or go for the jump
