This method has been working for years so I don't see why it would get patched now + how are they going to patch it? They can't stop people in Argentina buying from there store[/quote]
Maybe a way to detect VPNs? This method has become much more popular because of V-Bucks. I could definitely see them doing something about.

Guy on chat support just said you can only buy games in the region that your account is actually made in, you could migrate region but you can oldy do it every 90 days.

It still says it's down in the US. I really do think they have something up their sleeve. One specific service never takes them this long to fix. They are probably reworking the whole purchasing system.

I haven't had an issue buying anything even with the current service status. Apparently it's only affecting a small group of users.
