Staff members aren't just selected from some "mod campaign", those who are selected for recruitment upon the staff team have to show dedication in making the site friendly for all, having a great role model attitude, friendly with staff members, and showing the determination that one can sustain the power a moderator holds. I'm not saying Craig doesn't achieve any of these abilities but having a campaign to have him promoted is just foolish.
