i just got my new jr programmer today at 1pm its now 7 and i still cant get my computer to read it right it comes up as usb input device in device manager. ive installed drivers changed computer settings etc. my programmer has the red light also ive tried going into jrunner to reflash it and jrunner also says no device found please help! thanks

Should have a reset button on the side of it. May have to old it in until it recognizes the jr programmer make sure you pc is fully updated also. Common issues with the jr programmer also make sure you have the latest drivers.

Follow these steps and I can almost guarantee it'll work.
- Click the Start Start menu and select Settings.
Click Update and Security.
Click on Recovery.
Click Restart now under Advanced Startup.
Click Troubleshoot.
Click Advanced options.
Click Startup Settings.
Click on Restart.
On the Startup Settings screen press 7 or F7 to disable driver signature enforcement.
Then try installing J-R Programmer V2 drivers.

Lol

If you are using windows 10 disable driver signature enforcement

So in other words you didn't have it plugged in correctly.
