It use to be 25 letters XD until my family immigrated from Germany 2 North Dakota they had to drop the extra letters. The myth goes in Germany the more letters you have in your last name the more wealthy well known the family was. And it's actually probounced OB-Gay- Witch .

Just imagine if it took both last names JK that's to much.

My last name isn't hard to say but when spelling it they always miss write it all the time, "can you spell it out" lol cause my last name has two letter "o" and most times people write one or tell me to spell it out lol.

yep all the time my last name is Bown and is always mistaken with brown

Mine is Bauer and a lot of people spell it Bower

Not my last name but my middle name no one seems to be able to pronounce "Wladyslaw"
