So it turns on the straight back off any idea what could be wrong tried new power supply

Has a short somewhere in the console. Could be as simple as a bad capacitor. Or ribbon cable

Or could be more then that


Check all the capacitors. And try to power on with out the faceplate

Still does same without the faceplate everything looks fine

Mine done that! Does it just constantly do it?

Try my method;

Take plug out of socket (make sure orange light turns off)

Plug it back in and as soon as it's plugged in, press the power button.

(Keep trying until it works) it might just be my Xbox that needs that though lol.

atm i cant as i have striped it down to the board evrything looks good tho nothing look damaged
