Wassup peeps.

I'm having difficult reading my nand to prepare for a rgh 1.2. Im using a jr programmer chip to attempt to read the nand. Ive attempted several times, I've re soldered multiple times. When jr programmer is soldered to the board (without plugged into PC) all I get is a flashing red light. (Plugged into PC) all I get is a solid red. When I open jrunner it doesnt say jr programmer and also it says couldnt read files, no console found.

What do I do ? I need help

Can you provide a picture of the way you've got it soldered to the mobo? It sounds like something isn't connected properly.

ive cut the wire down real small so when its soldered to the board no wire is exposed, there is no bridging between the points. im just stuck. never had this happen before. ive even tried updating the firmware on the jr programmer thru j runner to make sure the programmer isnt stuck in bootloader. And still nothing.

Can you get any kind of connection when soldered? Or is it not recognizing on PC? If it's not being recognized and you've soldered it well then I think you're more than likely right and might have a defective jr programmer. I'll look into it to see what else has been said.

yes its making a connection as stated from above... when its soldered to the board without connecting it to the pc it blinks red. but when i connect it to the pc it turns from a blinking red to a solid red.
