Okay guys, I've done everything to try to fix this problem. Let me explain and see what you think it is.

The problem: When I'm pushing my computer like when playing games at max settings at high resolution my computer freezes out of nowhere. It freezes for about 2-4 secs and then goes back to normal and about 10 secs later it freezes again. My framerate on some games is around 70fps, when it freezes it drops to 1fps back up to 70fps. It is not thermal throttling as my computer is running cool. I've tried so much stuff to fix it and my next step is to send it in to get replaced. (THIS IS HAPPENING ON MY LAPTOP) Also when I run Dell Support assist and do a GPU Test it fails and gives me this error - Primary Surface Test - WVC07-LOH

ok by cool wym like what temps for the gpu and cpu you can use hw monitor

try to see if running at lower specs to see if the error still shows

but ima be real with u i'd just send it in if you are under warranty cus it most likely is a hardware issue so and fixing hardware issues on laptops is almost impossible

WVC07-LOH is supposedly a bug with the Dell Support assist app

id just run heaven benchmark to stress the gpu and see if the issue is still there

it also might help to know exactly what laptop and model you have to try to help you troubleshoot not knowing if the laptop has intel graphics amd or nvidia kinda makes things tricky so as much detail would be nice

but like i said if this were me and I still had warranty id just send it in to save myself the headache

Quick Update: Sent laptop in because was still under warranty after not being able to figure out what was causing this problem. I tested everything and went through everything I could think of and could not find the problem. Well after sending it in, they replaced the Motherboard and I have received the laptop back and it is fixed. Can't believe it was the motherboard. Pretty crazy but happy to have it fixed before the warranty was up which was in 30 days...
