Uh, no, that doesn't really dictate quality. It's definitely a very low quality case, trust me. I had one and hated it but if you don't care, you can hold on to it, it will still work lol.

Depends on your definition of good. You can get some pretty decent options around the £100 mark though.

It would cost less than 25 quid to add another 8GB RAM, there's really no reason not to. It would actually be beneficial in the games you play.

A CPU upgrade would be beneficial for both of these but your GPU is so old, that would be a much wiser upgrade currently. As said before, the 3570k is still a solid CPU so overclock it and with a new GPU, you'll definitely see an improvement.

If you were to look for a CPU upgrade in the future, Ryzen would be a good shout.

Added an SSD, stick your OS and games on there, then store everything else on your HDD. High end 8GB RX 580 for £220 is a good price, and with your use, it will be a good pairing for the 4k monitor I also included. On that note, I'd grab the monitor quick while it's cheap. £300 for a high quality IPS 4k monitor, this thing will last you ages! Included a nice new PSU, you can save about a tenner if you don't mind a semi-modular unit instead of fully-modular. Included the AV42's because they're good value speakers on PCPP, you might want to have a look at other options around £100 outside of PCPP though. The Edifier R1280T and R1600T are around the same price on Amazon, and well reviewed.

It's a low end card and eBay is flooded with fake GTX 1050Ti's. For £73, I can almost guarantee that's a fake card you're looking at.

So it doesn't matter if the RAM is branded (eg Corsair) or not?

And if I upgrade the RAM, monitor and video card to the ones you suggested would it be ok to keep my current PSU?

This is the inside of my case, for starters the CPU heatskin/fan is actually blocking one of the RAM slots, would removing this be as simple as unscrewing the two screws as seen to the left of it in 2.jpg?

It looks like changing the PSU would be tricky because I don't know what's going on but it looks like all the cables are shoved behind a back panel or something.

Replacing the video card looks like a very simple task.

I think 27inch is a bit physically big for a monitor, what do you think of this one both for quality and value for money? Is £400 for this overpriced?
