Just wondering if the Pro is actually worth it. My current PS4 is the 1st Gen and is really getting on my nerves with constant freezing and system crashes. And yes i have tried everything in the book to fix it. From rebuilding database, new hard drive and multiple cache clears and cleaning the system out.
Not sure if its worth spending the money for the Pro or get a newer standard PS4 again.

Was looking at the slim. Im mainly getting it to also upgrade to my 5Ghz wifi band as the 2.4 isnt cutting it for me rn as im on an extender and it half's the speed. But ill take a look at the slim. Thank you for the suggestion.

I have the Pro only because I gave my girlfriend my slim. I don't really see anything better except the bigger hard drive than I had on my slim. And I don't play in 4k.

If you have to get a new PS4, getting the Pro is definitely worth it. Games do run better, and the money saved going for the Slim is kind of inconsequential in the long run. Most games run fine on the regular PS4 still, but the performance is especially noticeable on PS VR games. The difference is $100? That's 1 and 1/2 games basically. Not a huge amount of money to save in the long run.

If you want games or the PS Main Guide (Where select games etc.) to run smoother than get the PS4 Pro
If you want to play in Native 4K or higher resolution etc. than get the PS4 Pro
If you want a extra USB Port than get the PS4 Pro
Honestly if you have the money than just get it as you wont be losing anything. It really helps with load times and it looks cool as well lol. Not to mention if you throw in the 2TB SSHD from firecuda load times increase up to %40 for not just games but the main menu etc.
