Hi all, My mum has used skydrive (now OneDrive) for the past few years to save all of our family photos and videos such holidays etc, its basically me growing up since 2008 but i have just logged on to see they have deleted absolutely everything, i contacted support via live chat and they said there is absolutely nothing they can do. Is this true? They said that it was deleted just 6 days ago. We rarely use the account and it is used for just saving all our things to. This is why it got deleted. Does anyone know of any other action i could take, we've lost everything.

I never use OneDrive however, after a quick google search I found this article.

I'm guessing you would have already searched up solutions to this problem but, if not that might help.
In future though, I really do suggest making backups of important files, images etc.
Sorry to hear about this though.

I highly feel this is false, cuz first off, they only delete your Onedrive when you've exceeded the storage and they send multiple emails in regards to it. And if you weren't above storage, they won't just go on your Onedrive and be like, they haven't been on in a while, they won't miss it. I'm sure there is more to the story here. I've never heard of anyone's cloud storage just magically disappearing.

Could always contact live support again and try with a different person, there's always people who say nothing can be done yet you contact another person on support and they can help you
