I've redeemed two codes but hasn't gone onto my account so you think it's because double XP weekend is approaching or am I getting an error or something

If you have already used an hour within the past 24 hours of playing, you will have to wait for them to be applied to your account.

Yea I contacted support about this issue and usually you have to wait at least 24 hours or so. I took mine about a day and a half to actually activate. Make sure your COD account is linked on your console as well in the options menu on multiplayer.
