Been having problems with windows since i got stuck in an automatic repair loop a while back.
Got of it by buying new windows and installing it, ever since my boot drive disappeared and was using my larger drive to have windows on. My hard drive then started this weird loud vibrating every so often so i tried to re install again.
I now have a computer with no windows, it wont find the 500gb boot drive, 2gb one is working but i dont have any partitions to instal windows on, cant make any new partitions
Does anyone know how it fix this?
Massive plus rep to people who can help in desperate need!

alright, let's start off by testing another SATA port so what you should do is unplug your HDD then replug it into different SATA ports and test them all.
" weird loud vibrating" now this does not sound good it seems like maybe something is wrong with the drive you may have to replace it. do you have another drive to test? if so hook that drive up install windows on it and see if you continue to see errors.
also, I would try another SATA cable as they can just break sometimes so it would be worth it to test.
another thing make sure you are using a real copy of windows 10 it is common to find fake ones around the internet that are not stable

I have had this problem in the past and it ended up being a bad SATA controller so you may just need a new motherboard that is always a pain but you never know when something hit the motherboard and shorts it.
but before just buying a new motherboard I would test the drive first tbh cus they are cheaper.
and 1 last thing
you need 16GB HDD space for 32-bit windows and 20GB for 64-bit Windows that is why the 2Gb HDD is not working

I have two drive, my 500gb boot drive which i think i deleted by mistake previously and cant find it anymore and my 2TB one which now has seemed to not be able to be found, i looked up diskpart and for some rrason they all say 0gb apart from a 14gb one which i have no idea what it is, probably my windows 10 copy, i cant try it on different drives as like i said the two i have seem to be done for, im willing to get a new drive but i want to exhaust my options first because i was able to do this a few weeks ago and it worked fine, its only when i went to reinstall again because i wanted to try and fix my 500gb one that it broke. Now when i go to instal there is no partitions big enough, and i cant make a new one. I didnt mean to say 2gb apologies its 2Tb

ok ok
so
weird that disk part says 0gb
well try a different SATA cable
if still no
boot pc in recovery mode "assuming it is already or you know how to access it since you have said you tried disk part"
Repair your computer
then
Repair your computer
type
diskpart
then
list disk
select disk {whatever disk it is}
clean
then after that
it should show up in the windows install
then just head here
Forums/t=7571278/ultimate-pc-repa...guide.html
then go down to the " Misc Tutorials " then follow the guide for a fresh windows install and hope it shows up
Edit:
Finishing assisting in pms
after trying lots of things i have determined the drive has failed
everything is all up and running properly now
