I belive by fiber you mean that fiber optic stuff? I dont think I have that. I do not know how it all works here but I remember them messing with the poles outside or something lol then we have this big box in the garage that if the power goes out it has a battery and then if that battery dies we dont have internet. Then I believe that box goes to a modem which then comes up stairs wired to my router. I THINK. I am not 100% sure on that. But I get the full 200 if I wire from wall to PC just not full 200 if I do router to pc

cable is faster then dsl aka telephone jacks. so idk where you heard cable is slow but that is wrong

I never mentioned dsl. Im saying he has fiber, which is faster than cable.

Ping is 2ms. It selects a town that is 30ish minutes away.
