I bought my son a "gaming" PC last Christmas but unfortunately, Fortnite struggles to run on it.

Can anyone advise me the cheapest way to get this PC up to spec in order for him to play Fortnite?

Current Spec:
AMD AD740KYBJABOX A-Series A6-7400K with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics
Windows 10 Home
Memory : 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
Hard Drive: Seagate 1TB Barracuda ST1000DM010

Now, I'm a bit of a nube when it comes to this so please advise in layman's terms if possible!

Many thanks!! (hopefully)

Your best bet would be buying a discrete GPU (A Graphics processing unit, used for running graphics heavy applications like video games) to install in the system. As well as a new power supply because seeing as the current system is a prebuilt, it most likely doesn't have a very strong/reliable power supply.

Here's a GTX 1050ti which is a good 1080p mid-range card for $169 as of right now, and if you order it soon it comes with a free evga 500W power supply, so two birds with one stone.
