this my be a dumb question but can you get banned for this? i would assume not because its an innocent glitch?

99.99999% believe you will NOT get banned for this lol. There isn't a reason why they could as this is something very poor they have allowed on their end. Any person playing custom games randomly could just decide to prestige their weapons while they're at it in the lobby and find out their attachments stuck over to multiplayer. The fact there are very few steps to this should be reassuring too.

With that in mind do it on your own risk still. I'm highly positive you won't get banned for this though, as they're many other glitches such as duplicating camos that people have been getting away with since they game started.

thanks for the reply, i figured as much but i was a little hesitant on doing it because i have diamond camo on a couple gun classes that i didnt want to lose. but anyways good job about finding this glitch! btw i just tried a minute ago and it still works as of 10/26/18

This worked the exact same way in BLOPS2.. you'd think they'd learn their lesson.
