fortnite doesnt support mouse and keybaord on console because consoles done support them fully. fortnite and microsoft not sure about sony have stated they dont want keyabord and mouse players vsing controller players. even with XIM which its support has been stopped for fortnite you still wont be getting an advantage

If I remember correctly, if you're on console using K&M, you will be placed in PC lobbies. If you are on PC using a controller, you will still be placed in PC lobbies. It was in the patch notes a few updates ago.
