he cant even boot into xell... so he cant update his nand that way. he has to use the lpt or nandx and reflash from his comp

Send it back to the person you bought it from for repairs. it needs to be reprogrammed by either using the lpt cable method or the nandx method

My mistake didn't realise Xell wasn't loading. What you must do is get a USB Nand Flasher or a LPT Connector and flash a good KV to your Xbox 360 manually.
