So today I went to my first ever car meet. It was a primarily KDM focused event hosted by the Korean Automotive Tuning Association of the DMV (DC / Maryland and Virginia not the other DMV).

Lots of Korean cars obviously but we had some guys in Focus STs and some Mustangs too, even had a guy in an S4 show up. It was a pretty awesome experience overall and I definitely recommend coming to the next meet for any of you who may live in Northern Virginia / Maryland

Here's some nifty pics of the turnout:

Allen's Elantra Sport on the left, mine on the right

Two 400+WHP Optimas from LAP3 Tuning (and an S4 in the back)

Bunch of Velosters + a Genesis and KATA Optima

And of course a picture of everyone :^)

Had to put at least one video in here. Didn't take many but since im a fangirl of the ES I had to post Allen's

Allen had one on the back of his car but I didn't get a pic of it. I'm sure there were other lowkey weebs there though

wow a korean car meet that is just really weird. basically only hyundais and kia's?. Were there only like 3 models of cars at the entire show? I just find it so funny people would go to a meet to see hyundais and kias when both only really have 1 decent model each.

Not one to usually hate on peoples car but hyundai and Kia both have a pretty bad rep in australia and are known mostly as grandma cars or cheap shit boxes to run into the ground.

They are starting to turn that around with the kia stinger and hyundai veloster I guess but their image still isn't great.

I agree Hyundai isn't exactly synonymous for quality but they've really been getting their shit together this past decade.

But yeah it was mainly Velosters, two Elantra Sports (which is basically an Elantra with some aero kits and the Veloster turbo engine) and some Optimas.
