Here's sort of the thing, i was in the same position as you were in price wise and I decided just to spend a little bit more. But it seems like you're going to be multi tasking and trying to achieve great graphics. I'm not currently home now, but here's a rough idea for a build that could work. Although I'd suggest a little more budget simply for your CPU, and at least a 1070 for the games you'd be playing.

RX 580 for $160 is a no brainer, especially when you get 2 free games with it(once they release).

The green label Corsair CX PSUs are poor quality at best, don't buy those. The new grey label CX(M) units are solid though. While the Seasonic EVO series isn't bad, it is old. So the newer grey label CX650M would get my buy over the Seasonic EVO, despite only being semi-modular.

Eclipse P350X is a nice case with some RGB lighting. There are plenty of good options in the $60-80 range though if you don't like the P350X.

Included a 500GB 860 EVO because for $80, there's no reason not to buy one lol. You can add an HDD at any point anyway if you need more storage. However, if you think you'll need more than 500GB fairly immediately, you could get a 1TB HDD and 240GB OCZ TR200 instead of the 500GB 860 EVO for around the same price.

B450M Pro4 is a solid motherboard for the price. There are definitely better options, but those are closer to $100, if not more than $100.

8GB RAM for now because it'll be fine and it's easy enough to add another 8GB DIMM at any point. You won't want to use 2400MHz RAM with Ryzen, it'll be pretty detrimental to performance. 3000/3200MHz is ideal.

Included 2 mice for you to choose from(although there are plenty more options), but no keyboard. I'd recommend just grabbing any cheapo keyboard for now and maybe upgrade to a nice mech keyboard at some point in the future, probably with MX Blues or MX Browns.

Appreciate all the replies! This build was really nice, the only question I have is would it just be worth it to upgrade the motherboard now?
How much would it help performance to just add another $50 to my budget and splurge for the nicer MB?
And if I went with a nicer MB per say would I need to go different anywhere else?

If you spent closer to around $100 on a motherboard, it would definitely be better quality and most likely look a bit nicer. You won't gain any extra performance with a different motherboard though. Better motherboards will allow more stable overclocks and potentially higher overclocks which is where you'd see a performance benefit, but it's really not going to be huge. You wouldn't have to change anything else if you wanted to swap out the motherboard, so long as you make sure to get an AM4 socket motherboard obviously.

Asus' BIOS is by far the best, but you have to pay the Asus premium for it which often isn't really worth it for most people. The Strix B350 motherboard I linked would be a decent option if you don't mind the price tag though.

The MSI B450 Tomahawk is a really solid B450 board, a little pricey though IMO. I've used a couple of MSI motherboards in the past and haven't really liked them all that much. I'm currently using an X370 Gaming Pro Carbon from MSI but I want to change it, probably for something Asus.

The AsRock X370 Killer is a really good motherboard. I'd probably take it over the MSI B450 Tomahawk or Asus B350 Strix because the price on the X370 Killer is just too good. Yeah, I know rebates can be a bit of a nightmare at times but if you manage to get the rebate for that mobo, $80 for it is pretty damn good. Also one of the better looking boards so definitely a solid choice.

I'd recommend using MX Blue or MX Brown switches. I use MX Blues but if you don't like loud clicky switches, then MX Browns might be a better shout. If you have a Micro Center or something like that close to you, they should have kyeboards on display so you can maybe test different switches to see what you like before buying.

Another decent option, MX Browns for $60 or with MX Blues for $10 more. However, this one looks a lot more gaudy IMO and has red LEDs which might look out of place in your set-up.

Corsair K6* and K70 are good keyboards, as is the Corsair Strafe. Cooler Master keyboards also tend to be pretty good IMO, especially the MasterKeys from what I hear. I think the Asus Strix keyboard is pretty good too. If you want RGB LEDs, you're gonna be looking at around $100+, with this being the cheapest option;
