Checked them all out and they all seem to have mediocre quality, the hd-pvr seems to have quite high quality but seems to be quite complicated and would cost quite a bit for P&P cosidering the size. Tbh think ill just settle for the cheap option and get the Dazzle, seems pretty easy to set up too.

Any ideas on video editing software?

Thanks.

If your just a standard recorder (record glitches and monatges and stuff) get a dazzle there abit complicated to set-up and to get the best quality you will have to pay abit more than £70 because you need splitters but im gonna tell you how to do it for £70

okay so you have your dazzle and if youved looked on youtube tonnes of people will tell you to buy splitters. That seems like the only way to do it, its not. so what you need to do is have your HD cables RGB (component plugged in and plug the yellow one into your dazzle and one sound cord if you want sound. Then flick the switch on the bag of the comenent cables to standard definition. That way you play in kindda hd but its not so you still have a decent quality, u play on the hd channel on your tv while the dazzle is recordind in standard but because your not splitting the tv signal you get way better quality !

Install the cd`s it tells you to in the manual and open up pinnacle studio, you will have to set the signal to NTSC becuase when you have PAL selected it doesnt record in PAL 60 for some reason but thats basically it in pinnacle but you will notice its in black and white, you will need a program called AMCap this turns the picture colour ! you can get it for free just google it.. then open it up and go to options then video capture filter scroll down to were it says SECAM B and select that . you can just apply that then back out.

Okay so every time you want to record you need to start recording and then quickly open up AMCap and you should get an error message say " video capture filter unable" or something thats ok just leave it and go on pinnacle it will now be recording in colour and you will be all good to go !

*For editing you can do it in pinnacle but its crap ! so i would get Sony vegas pro 9 its the best !

If you have any other problems just Pm me on xbox live or this !
