As far as i know the ap2.5 checks are only for new ssv3 games like fable 3 and black ops, if you play any other game whether its a back up or not you should be fine. But once you put in a ssv3 game your console will be flagged and possible banned in the new ban wave.

I have a BenQ and Sammy MS25 both flashed with LT, i have installed the new dashboard on both of them.

On the BenQ i am playing Black Ops online (by online i mean signed into XBL while playing the campaign) right now, on the Sammy i have loaded a retail tiger wood's and just left it at the main menu. I am testing to see if i get banned because of the firmware's or the early playing of black ops.

Now only time will tell

The IP will not be banned. Just the Xbox.
