Ok so I am having a problem with putting my patch in xex and starting up MW2. I have tride diff paches and looked at a lot of tuts. So wen I put the patch on xex and play mw2 it ses that the disk is unreadable and stuff like that but then wen i delete the patch and start mw2 its fine,so can someone please help. Thanks

Ok first go get a patch liek dudeitsbrian make sure mw2 is on xexmenu without a disc next get a default_mp.Xex thats for patches then after u replace the patch click on default_mp.xex and happy MODDING

That is wat i did but wen i do it it ses unable to read disk, there is no disk in my jtag though. Then wen I delete the patch it all works fine. and I have tride all diff kinds of patches,

The problem you're describing occurs with all games when you incorrectly patch the .xex

First verify you have the title update
Secondly verify you have actually patched the .xex
Thirdly, if the patch_mp.ff you're using is doing funky stuff like deprestige, verify you are using an .xex that has been modded appropriately.

make sure you have all the new tu6,default_mp.xex

and download mw2 to harddrvie
