Ok so yesterday I knocked my xbox off my stand while it was running and my mw2 got the perfect circle. In all reality it was my fault wasn't too mad about that one, so today I go to my local video store and ask them to buffer it, they take it in back and do the big buffer to take out all scratches only costs me 3 bucks. I was like nice! So after about 15 minutes it's done and one of the employees brings it out and I look at it and bam no scratches. So I eventually make my way home, and I put MW2 in and try to start it up but it won't even load, let me add when I just scratched it the first time it would load up but then give the disc un-readable sign after like 5 minutes. So this keeps happening to the disc I keep opening it and closing it, turning off my console multiple times and this still keeps happening. So I take it out and eventhough the perfect circle in the middle is gone the entire middle where the sensor circle is, is f'd to s***. There are a ton of little scratches all in the middle of the disc. Pisses me off so much because I know that before I took it in it didn't have those scratches. What makes me really mad is that when I bought the buffer thing they asked if I wanted a reciept and I said no because who the hell needs a receipt for a buffer. So I called them back and they told me to come back tomorrow and talk with one of the managers. Now I really hope that they can somehow fix it or just give me a brand-new disc, but in reality I think they won't take responsibility and I will just have to end up buying a brand new disc. I am so freaking mad that when I take it to a place that is supposed to fix s*** they make it worse. They better fix it or just give me a new copy. I don't even think they can fix it either because all the scratches are on the sensor and the buffer machine doesn't buff out the sensor bar.
*UPDATE*: So I just got back from the video store and I went in there and told them what happened, and at first the manager was like oh I don't even see anything eventhough the scratches on the sensor were clearly visible so I was great. Then she well let me just go run it through the buffer again, so I said ok...about 15 minutes later she comes out and she says well I think it looks better (Remember she said she said that she didn't even see anything in the first place), but anyways I took it home and it works. There are still a few scratches on the disk where the sensor part is but not like there was before. I was out of my MW2 for two days and I missed her...lol, so just letting everyone know what happened. Thanks.

That's dumb because even if I did that they would just see that the disc that I rented from them came back scratched so I would just have to pay for a new disc anyways.

Yea but what I am saying is that they have my name and my credit card on file so if they didn't see the scratch right at that moment they would've found it eventually I am just going in there tomorrow to see whats up I will update my original post and tell everyone what happened.
