Ok, I have got 2 xbox's, one that is opened ready for modding/hotswapping and one that is just a plain not opened xbox thats normally on xbox live. If I put the xbox that hasn't been opened's harddrive on the xbox that is opened and did the hotswap (Selecting to install the game install on there obviously), It should work right?

What if I moved the harddrive back onto my not opened xbox and played call of duty? Would the patches still work or will it just be the same old COD?

Nope it doesen't work.

you have to play on the console you hotswapped with.
The game won't even start, it will give you an error saying you have to play it on the console you installed it to.

Won't work. For me it just says "Play windows media disk"

:stern: That means I'll have to buy a memory card to store the game install on.

Another question; Do I need to be connected to xbox live to hotswap?

I'm also woundering will the new dashboard update stop me from hotswapping.

You do not have to be connect to XBL.

You can hotswap on the new dash.

Finished with my questions, Thanks guys!

Just waiting for my discs to arrive now. Should arrive tomorrow, if not the next day.

I hope you'll be able to do the same with the "zombies" or whatever on black ops.
