i can help pm me your gt but most of the time e79 is from bad soldering on a jtag or a hard drive error. first try playing with the hard drive taken out if that dosn't work than i would check the soldering. I have had the same problem.

Hardware failure, in this scenario is specifically your nand.
Youre going to have to aquire something like nand-x in order to fix it, otherwise theres no possible way without opening it.

E79 isn't always solder/wire related.
Yes you're correct, reflashing your orig nand will get it to boot again but what you really need to reflash is your FreeBOOT image.
Need your cpu, nand and freeboot toolbox maker to create another FB image if you don't have your original..
If you cannot boot your console by eject or power, you will need to hook it up via usb or lpt to reflash your info.
I would look for someone who can do this for you locally or send it off to someone.

Please help!!!!NO that is not the way to go, the Ethernet port on the top of your xbox (if you have one) is made so you can plug a homemade adapter which has one side ethernet, one side lpt for easier flashing of NANDS, don't use a normal ethernet

Ok a lot of thinks can make this happen after a bad flash.
1. The wire is rong!
2. freeboot is not installed rite!
so if its the freeboot 1 that happend to me you will be adle to boot up in xell!
if you can not the you need to redo the wireing!
if you do have a bad flash here is a tut i made
