tl;dr: Is your gamertag affected in anyway if your flashed console is banned? Does your gamertag ever get banned for playing a game before it is released on a flashed xbox?
If you were to play a backed-up XBOX dvd/game on your flashed xbox before the release date of said DVD I am told you will be banned. But by banned what do you mean? Will any gamertags who were recorded playing those games on said xbox be banned for xbox live? Even if they are recovered somewhere else? or is only that particular XBOX banned?
Could anyone clear this up? Thank you.
In this hypothetical scenario a user wants to play the soon to be released Black Ops game on his personal/everyday gamertag on his second XBOX to get a head start in unlocking guns/perks etc. If/when that second/flashed XBOX gets banned is there any change the gamertag will be banned? Or will that people be able to recover it back onto their original/stock_firmware xbox and be able to log in again to XBOX live without any problems?
Sorry I kept going, anyways thank you for any replies.

the only thing that may happen is that your gamertag will get corrupted.

Most likely not because MS will be like "Ha! You little bitch, wanna hack our console, well now it's banned!". Thinking you will have to go buy another. So they probably wouldn't ban your GT because they've already caused you to spend another $200-$400 on another console.

Yeah well, Microsoft must not be thinking. Plus, they probably feel a console ban is sufficient.
