Youre system is not failing due to jtag hack it is the gpu is either dead or needs to be reballed to the motherboard usually when the glitchy lines and the weird noise before the lines is a result of a dead gpu suggest getting the gpu reballing service !!! runs around 60-100 depending on if it needs a new graphics chip or just reballing the solder balls and reattaching the gpu to the mobo... i have a xenon suffereing from same thing its just been reballed with an new gpu but still glitches/freezes ill have it get reballed so the solder adhears better to the MOBO best of luck hope this helps you

Hey just to clarify on that comment.
You hardly ever have a dead GPU. Only way this results is when someone fries the BGA when trying to repair themselves.
No way the console will heat up enough on its own to result in a dead/fried BGA.
It's recommended to Reflow the solder up to 3 times before a Reball is required, just so you know..
Reball w leaded solder is recommended for a longer repair but I have had Reflows last well over a year after GPU only Reflow w flux..

All people mentioning the GPU are correct.
Usually what a bunch of static lines, or blurry, distorted, out of sync, video means is that either your GPU or (H)ANA chip is overheating or has a cold solder joint on one of the balls connecting the chip to the motherboard.
A reflow will fix this problem! However, it will happen again. It's just the nature of the unreliable beast that is xbox 360.
After a reflow, you are going to want to upgrade your fans to 12V,add some heatsinks on the unprotected chips on the board, and preform a fan shroud mod.
After this your xbox should be good to go for a while at least.
Just for the record, your best bet is to buy a Jasper or Falcon JTAG system because the one you have will eventually kick the bucket.

JTAGxCONSOLE wrote Ok guys when I turn my Jtag on and go into Xex and then go into system li k about 3 mins after i start system link my screen freezes and gets static lines on it.
What is this?
Most likely a cold solder point the console has not noticed yet-- you will get E7something soon if not fixed
