Camp a lot by going into small places, or bushes. Also, have chopper gunner or dogs and UAV. Do wager matches! Or domination.

AK74u is a good good, but belive me when i say this, unlock the stoner in SMG, (its the last gun) and put extended mags or what ever its called on there, im rank 44 and that gun is beast belive me, i started using it yesterday and i have over 400 kills with it, best gun i used so far, but thats my opinion

What gun did you use to get to level 44?

Use the Galil I think it's spelt with a suppressor. Trust me, that gun is a beast. It's the TAR-21 of Black Ops.

Use that for however long you desire, it's my main class. I alternate between that and the G11.

Killstreaks, use UAV/Spy Plane, Helicopter, Dogs. If you plan on prestiging, exclusively use those. UAV to help with the obtaining of kills that get you the 7 and then the 11. Once you get dogs, you basically win life. Why only those streaks? You only have to buy one, the dogs. The others you already have unlocked.

Another helpful tip is play Headquarters. If you capture it, you get 50 points per HQ tick, which I think is once per 5 seconds, so 10 points a second basically. Combine that with kills, assists, headshots, paybacks, double/triple/multi kills, contracts, etc. etc. and that nets you EASY levels.

One final universal tip is play with friends! It makes the time go faster, makes the grind more enjoyable and you also have a dependable team, one that aids in capturing objectives/assisting in kills.

I use the galil red dot and play ground war or search. I rank up really fast in GW though, I probably average about 3 challenges a game!
